Sorry for the lack of postings, things have just been swirling into a vortex of shit and piss, but you know I am living and trying to survive watching the NHL Playoffs, hoping my team can survive the first round blitz of San Jose, knowing that they face Detroit in the next round….BLAH!
Other then that, things are pretty much same ole, same ole, but trust me, anytime there is any major shit going down in my life, then trust me, I will let you maniacs know.
well, well, here we are again in another miserable fucking week where it has been cold, windy, and just downright miserable. But that’s ok, cause damnit, I know that spring and summer are coming, and that I am just totally geared up for it.
Now, I have to admit, I am NOT huge fan of summer, mainly because I hate the heat…just picture a big fatmat sweating his fat ass off. That’s me…and that is why I hate the summer, but after the winter that we had, I may suffer with it for this summer anyway.
Let me think….what else is going on…..well, my new car is working really fucking awesome, I totally love the idea of having a car that I don’t have to look down at the gauges and make sure I am not overheating or going to run into any trouble or anything….and having a cd player in the car does help…I don’t think I have made so many audio cd’s in years.
A big shout out to a few of my “peeps” out there…. Mel, I hope your enjoying your away time, and I am sorry to see the status change…if you know what I mean. J-Rod…..nice talkin to ya again, glad to see your little one is doing so well, and last, but not least, Steph…here’s to another shitty movie ;).
Working on finishing up my 3rd day of this week (5 day week), so I will be happy to see Friday morning come, hopefully to catch up on some well-deserved sleep. Plus, I got a really good paycheque coming next week, so I am kinda excited about that.
The easter bunny comes up this week, and I hope he’s good to each and every one of you.

As you noticed by the title, I am going to try and make my posts a weekly thing, because my life is so fucking boring that Daily Rants just won’t do, cause that is just how truly boring my life is.
Well, things are going good, I got a new car on Friday, which is awesome. It’s a 2003 Ford Focus.

Well, Big Brother is doing good, they just seperated the couples into single players. The jist of this season is that people were going to play as “soul mates”. Things totally backfired for a lot of people, because their partners were idiots. But it is really, really good this (winter) season….
…Speaking of winter, WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO FUCKING END?!? Since my last post we have had at least 2 (I am pretty sure it’s 3) storms, whether it be snow, rain, ice, or any combo. of the 3….I hope spring come soon…but I sure hope we don’t have a summer to make the furiousness of this winter.
Other then that, things are great…just enjoying the driving of a new car
Well, today’s the day, I turn another year older and realize exactly where I am in my life…which isn’t totally that bad. I have a lot of things going for me, I won’t go into any details, but it’s all good.
My birthday was both good and bad. It was good because I did have a lot of fucking fun with the people that did show up, but bad because there are people that didn’t show up, that I would have almost guaranteed were going to be there, but were not. Oh well, we went out to eat at a local Cantina, which is always awesome, we then went home and relaxed and played some games. I didn’t drink near as much as I thought I was going to, but it’s all good.
Today were (where I live) is going through our like 15th snow storm this winter, I can’t fucking believe how bad it has been….absolutely nasty, but I’m old enough to remember when all winters were like this.
Going to take it easy today/tonight, and watch Big Brother tonight at 9pm and come to work again tonight. (BLAH)
Well, the war of the next gen hi-def formats is over and it’s official, Toshiba is not going to continue with the HD-DVD format, which is fucking good for me, as I had been considering getting the HD-DVD player for my Xbox 360. Dodged a bullet with that one. But now that Blu-Ray has won the Hi-Def war, I am hoping they are good enough to lower the price to something that is a bit more reasonable, cause for the same price as a normal Blu-Ray player, I can get a full fucking Playstation 3, with the Blu-Ray player and a 40gb harddrive. Which would you get???? DUH!
Speaking of video games, I rented Devil May Cry 4 over this past weekend, and I must say that I absolutely love the game. I ended up finishing the game about 4pm on Sunday (I picked the game up at about 1pm on Saturday). I highly recommend renting or buying and playing it, I only finished it on human mode (Easy), but I find that it is boring if you continue to play through the levels past that first time.
It’s one week until my birthday, when I will be a ripe, young 32yrs old. I will accept all forms of birthday money…including Paypal, just email me at webmaster@onechunkymonkey.com for instructions ;).
Other then that, the only other thing that is going on is the weather, it is getting absolutely nuts, as we are having either rain all the time, freezing rain all the time or snow all the time. I can’t wait until the spring is here.
I just noticed that my credit card payment went through, so I may go and buy something stupid, just because I can.
Well, first off I would like to wish everyone a late Happy Valentine’s Day and I hope you got to spend lots of time with that special loved one or your better half.
I don’t have anyone at this time, but maybe sometime soon, who knows. But you know what they say, if you can’t be with the one you love, love the one your with.
Not too much going on, I am super psyched about this new movie that is out, called Jumper starring Hayden Christensen, for those of you non fucking geeks who don’t know who Hayden Christensen is, he played Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars Episode 2 and 3 (a.k.a. Darth Vader).
Just imagine what you could do if you could, in a split second go from where you are to any place on earth. What would you do??? I know what I would do!!!!
Not much planned for the weekend, just going to relax, seeing as my fucking car is broken, but that’s ok, we’ll see what the weekend brings.
Well, just so everyone knows….my snot is fucking fantastic (hehehe right M.M, you know who you are).
So, what is new…well, the fucking wga strike in Hollywood is pretty much at a close, which is fucking fantastic if you ask me, cause I am a huge t.v. watcher, and nothing has pissed me off more then repeat after repeat after repeat of shows that I have seen before, now don’t get me wrong, there has been some fantastic things to watch doing the strike, like American Gladiators and Survivor and stuff, but I miss knowing that I am going to sit down on a Tuesday night and watch an episode of House, MD that I have never seen before.
While I am on the subject of House, I don’t know if many people reading this watch House, but I watched the one after the Superbowl online (cause I had to work that night) and it was the one in the Arctic, and I totally thought that I knew the doctor in the north (the POTW), but I couldn’t think of it, and then I found out it was Mira Sorvino, I couldn’t fucking believe it, she has definately grown up a lot.
Other then that I am just getting ready for some birthday celebrations in about 2 weeks, so I am excited about that, it is a yearly event now, I just hope enough people show up to make it worthwhile.
Just finishing up some stuff for the night, then it is bedtime for me….thank God!!!!

So sue me (please American readers, don’t really sue me), but life has been doing pretty good, thus, time is going quickly, so before you know it, we are almost a week into Feb. and holy shit, my birthday is coming soon too, which is actually pretty awesome. I’m not going to mention my age, well, cause quite frankly, unless you are a personal friend of mine, it’s none of your fucking business…just kidding ;).
Any other news? Well, I have totally decided to move forward with my life, after some very hard transitions over the course of the last few years, which I feel totally awesome about, and I totally hope everything works out, as I hope it will…I’ll let y’all know if it does.
The ice storm here finally had the last of it’s victims taken care of, as of yesterday at this time (5:00am EST), there were about 120 people without power, now I must commend the local power company for getting everything fixed, as this would have been a major undertaking by them to get this fixed. GOOD JOB!!!! (as much as I hate paying my fucking powerbill).
Couple of things I am looking forward to this next few days to a week…
1)an end to this retarded writers strike in the U.S, so I can watch some new episodes of some of my favorite shows.
2)my favorite NHL team to move up on the standings (as they did last night by winning in a shootout)
Oh by the way, I totally new NY was going to win the SuperBowl, which btw, was fucking awesome!!!!
We have had nothing but shitty weather since December, with the odd spirts of being warm, but that really doesn’t fucking help. We will get one or two days of warm weather, which will melt the snow and ice, but then the next day, it gets very cold again, causing everything to become ice…it friggin sucks.
And if you think the above sucks, imagine having a an ice storm, which is exactly what we’ve been having here, below is an image from about 100km west of here.

I mean over the course of the last 3 days, we have had about 12hrs of no power, but thankfully, nobody has been hurt and I am thankfully one of the areas that has power now and has had it for a majority of time during the storms, there are some areas that apparently are not going to have power til about the end of the weekend.
All I can say now, bring back the sweating and the heat.
Well not too much to report, just that I feel like shit, and between wiping the snot off my nose every 5 minutes, and coughing up a lung every 30 minutes or so all is good.
Last day or two, I have just been trying to rest and get lots of sleep and liquids into me to keep me going so I can get this cold/flu think outta me, so I am hoping I will be back to normal at about 2pm this afternoon, when I wake up.
